Down the Bridal Veil

Getting started on the Bridal Veil Falls Trail
Dr. K, Becca and I took a two-hour hike on the Bridal Veil Falls Trail this morning, and the weather was glorious.  The only other hikers we ran into were four people, one of whom was carrying a small West Highland Terrier.  The man carrying the animal explained to us that the poor critter's paws were sore from the long trek.  Just as we finished our hike at the trailhead at Fresnal Canyon Road we encountered a woman with two dogs--a white Lab mix, and a brown Lab mix.  Her husband showed up a moment later.  They were from Tucson, presumably visiting relatives for Thanksgiving.  We all had a nice chat before going our separate ways.
