A Tad Further

This and the next four:  ballooning in Las Cruces
I took Becca on a slightly longer hike this morning during which I carefully monitored her for any signs of limping.  I also made sure we didn't do anything too strenuous, purposefully avoiding areas that were overly steep.  I made certain we went slowly as well, stopping frequently to take lots of photographs.  For tomorrow's trek Dr. K and I will decide whether we want to head over to Organ Mountains-Desert Peaks National Monument.  If we do go there we'll have to make a real effort to keep the trek short
