Another Solo With Heelers

View from LDR-A
Willow, Frio and I hiked up to Second Arroyo this morning, spent a few brief moments inside, and then headed back.  Both of the Heelers were well behaved, and although we spotted several jackrabbits they didn't feel the need to chase.

Much of the desert floor seemed to be sanded smooth from yesterday's treacherous winds, which lasted well past 8 p.m. gusting near 70 mph.  The blowing dust and sand that filled the air all day yesterday were absent from today's trek.

We saw no other outdoor enthusiasts hiking in our section of the northern Chihuahuan Desert while we were there.
