Attitude Adjustment Required

This and the next 2:  in Second Arroyo
Hiked with Willow and Frio up to Second Arroyo this morning, and after a stop for water we explored eastward a bit in the wash.  Everything was good until we started back.

About one-third of the way down LDR we encountered a woman with two dogs--one small, one medium--who we see fairly often.  Even though I managed to get my two monkeys far enough off the road to ensure no real interaction both Frio and Willow went semi-ballistic at the two interlopers.  I strained to hold them back, and raised my voice for Willow to obey (she was the worst of the two), but they were undeterred.  They didn't calm down until the woman and dogs were out of sight.

Frio--who's deaf--responds better to my leash tugs than Willow; I've got to find a way to get her under control.

I like that last photo of the huge Torrey Yucca. I hope the doggies behave better very soon.
