Hike to First Arroyo

Huge Soaptree Yucca
We trekked up to First Arroyo on a fairly pleasant morning that was supposed to be colder than it actually was.  Little wind and plenty of sunshine made for good weather.

We saw nobody else on the way up or back, and we didn't see any jackrabbits that almost certainly would have triggered our Heelers chase instinct.  That's a very good thing.

All in all we all enjoyed our morning outing today.

I really like that black-and-white photo of the tree. You have such a good eye, Packrat.
