Like Spring

This and the next:  morning moon
My weather app read "31F, feels like 31F" when we set out this morning, but it felt much warmer than that.  In fact, it seemed like spring almost as soon as we got started hiking.

We headed up to Second Arroyo, stopped in for a water break and to take a few photographs before heading back.  On the way we crossed paths with the friendly man we often see running with his wife.

There was a vehicle parked at the Tellbrook/Sonoma Ranch Road when we began our trek, but it was gone by the time we got up into the high flatland where our CR-V waited.
