Tortugas and the Organ Mountains
|
For much of the morning yesterday it seemed as if it could start raining at any moment; it didn't. Late afternoon got sunny, and precipitation didn't begin until about 10:30 p.m. It never rained hard nor for long.
Due to clouds and high humidity this morning the temperature was noticeably cooler; we're only supposed to reach 88F today. Prediction is that after 10:00 a.m. thunderstorms could begin. It's 10:45 now, and nada.
We sure need the precip, but area flood warnings make us worry that it could be too much.
