Alone With Heelers

Distant view of Tortugas and the Organs
Dr. K went grocery shopping this morning and Willow, Frio and I went out to the desert for a tres amigos hike.

We went down LDR-A, crossed to the north bank of the Tellbrook Arroyo, turned east toward the Organ Mountains, and then headed north up a series of side arroyo we've explored often in the past.

70F when we started off, but a nice breeze kept conditions bearable.  The breeze vanished before we finished the trek, however, and things felt quite steamy due to high humidity by the time we finished up.
