Crest

Dr. K with Willow and Frio
We were really ambitious with our trek this morning, climbing to the crest of the large, steep hill southeast of the cabin; we've been partially up this hill in the past, but never to the top.

The strenuous climb was worth the effort because the views from the summit were beautiful.  We stayed only a short while before bushwhacking our way back down on an equally strenuous and somewhat treacherous descent.

After we all got back inside the cabin Dr. K and I took a short water break and then began the yard work on the rest of our property.  When we finished I put some air in the CR-V tires before staggering back inside for a shower and much needed recuperation.
