Encounter Adjustment

Heading down LDR-A
Dr. K went shopping this morning and I took Frio and Willow for a semi-long trek in our section of northern Chihuahuan Desert.  We descended LDR-A, turned right into the Tellbrook Arroyo and began to strike north into a series of small arroyos we've often explored in the past; but we had to alter our track when we spotted a man wearing camouflage clothing headed in our direction.

When Willow saw him I had to encourage both Heelers to veer away, using the command "Here!" to get them to move my way.  Apparently the guy heard me calling them because he turned around and headed back the way he had come.  Not sure where he was going I took Frio and Willow over to LDR and hiked with them north all the way to First Arroyo.

After a short stopover in First Arroyo we turned around and headed back, crossing the Tellbrook Arroyo and climbing LDR-A into the upper flatlands where we'd parked the CR-V.
