Blooming Late

Hill next to LDR-A
Much cooler for our morning trek today, slightly overcast with a chilly breeze.

We did our normal hike despite the gunshots emanating from the direction of the Tellbrook/Sonoma Ranch intersection.  Seemed like legitimate dove hunting, though, as the shooter wasn't popping off round after round.

When we hiked up Right Branch Arroyo we changed route slightly, sticking in the arroyo bed rather than paralleling it to the east.  It was a nice change before we exited via the steep hill to the south.

Got gas in the CR-V and mailed two bills on the way home.

I love that first image of the Mourning Dove. And also the accidental photo of Packrat's leg and hand.
