Early start |
We didn't see anybody else out there, but we sure did hear the constant retort from the shotgun somebody was shooting up near the intersection of Tellbrook and Sonoma Ranch.
The desert was beautiful today--68F when we started off--and only intermittent sunshine through the clouds. The trek was unremarkable except for the large brown snake Dr. K kicked up, a serpent that scared the bejesus out of her.

I like that photo of the Desert Zinnia bouquets that we saw all over the desert floor.
