Good Dogs

Looking southwest from LDR-A arroyo
Dr. K went shopping this morning so I was on my town with Willow and Frio.  We did our usual hike and only heard dirty Bassets braying rather than seeing them.

Not long after entering Right Branch Arroyo I let both Heelers off lead, and they were marvelously well behaved, stopping often to look back at me and to retrieve the treats they seem to crave.

Several times we stopped for a longish break, and Frio and Willow exhibited great patience in lying down to wait for the command to get going again.  I felt extremely happy with their behavior this morning.
