Got a little sun eventually
|
Woke up to more snow than had accumulated yesterday morning. It didn't deter us from taking a short hike in the forest near the cabin.
And again, like yesterday, before we departed for the jaunt Dr. K called my attention to a small herd of elk on our property; this time a bull was with the cows.
I went outside to photograph them, and after a short while the bull seemed somewhat bothered by my presence, so he turned and took the others with him at a measured pace.

I like the photos of the elk where they seem to be staring straight at you. Beautiful winter scenes from the Sacramentos.
