Cloudy Respite

East toward the Organs
Dr. K, Willow and I got a real break this morning; clouds obscured the sun for much of our trek.  A slight breeze offered even more respite from the heat, and we "enjoyed" the hike a bit more than we have of late.

Needless to say we didn't add any extra distance today because we didn't want to press our luck; the fully sunny desert might appear at any moment, roasting and broiling us simultaneously.

These guys appeared to be searching the desert

Headed south they turned eastward and then north near us

Beautiful images of the dynamic clouds from this morning. My favorite is the last image you posted, of the Tortugas and the Organ mountains.
