Heat is On Again

Headed down LDR-A arroyo to yucca shade for Wils
The desert floor hasn't been cooling off very much during the overnight hours, and the skillet we hiked on this morning felt it.  The longer we stayed out there the worse the conditions were.

Needless to say we added no extra distance today due to two different factors:  the merciless heat and the bugs that were orbiting around all our heads.  Poor Willow had to use both ears to flick at the little buggers.

After the trek we drove over to our local Circle K to top off the gas tank.  That was our Sunday drive this time around.
