Interesting Light

I suspect these are members of the local high school's girls track team
We got our hike in this morning before the strong winds hit.  Nevertheless, there were high winds aloft, and the coming and going of clouds made for interesting light.  Just as we were getting started we heard the sounds of people on the trail leading to the high loop around the north side of the mountain.  I'm guessing from the uniforms that they were girls from Centennial High School's track team, out for a morning workout.  At the backside of Tortugas we ran into an elderly woman and man who were hurrying around the mountain to beat the wind.
About to snake our way down to the lower desert

That's a good workout for the track team.

You're only "dorky"-looking because of your stiff posture in this image. I've never thought you a dork before (and still don't).
