Midweek at Tortoise Mountain

It was beautiful out there this morning, although the wind picked up significantly about half way through our hike.  We ran into a jogger and several hikers in the outback, and there were seven vehicles in the parking lot when we reached our car.  Can't blame people for wanting to get out and enjoy the fine desert spring, but I'd prefer they wait until Becca and I have finished our long hike.
