Another Bout of Bad Weather?

When Becca and I set off this morning it looked very much like we might get wet again on our hike.  Fortunately, an intermittent stiff breeze managed to push the rain clouds out of the area before precipitation ensued.   We did hear the rumble of thunder once, but it didn't come again.  So we were able to do a long trek unconcerned by the

potential of bad weather.  Although a few other cars occupied the parking lot we saw nobody in the outback.

Packrat, I don't recall you taking pictures from the top of Tortugas very often (ever?). Is there a reason for that? (The image of the thread trail up the mountain made me think of that question.)

I do take photos from atop Tortugas at times, Scott. In fact, I was thinking of trekking up there again in the near future. I'll see what the weather looks like in the upcoming days.
