South on the Sierra Vista Trail

Tortugas Mountain from the Sierra Vista Trail
Dr. K, Becca and I did a long trek on the Sierra Vista Trail South this morning.  What seemed like a relatively warm hike at the start turned cold about midway through due to a persistent wind.  The conditions certainly weren't unbearable, but were less than desirable.  Still, we had a good time putting mileage on our feet and paws, getting some good exercise in, and appreciating the desert sun even if it didn't feel that toasty.
