Wind Chill

The true leader of the pack
It was 50F when we were hiking in the desert this morning, but the wind made it feel far cooler.  Fortunately the sun was shining brightly, though neither Dr. K, Becca nor I removed our coats.  There weren't many other outdoor enthusiasts about--probably because of the wind--but we did have one close encounter with Kruger, a dog that came to see us briefly before his male guardian called him back.  Kruger seemed a well-behaved canine.
