A Fine Morning

First 4:  early morning sky
Absolutely beautiful morning for a hike in the northern Chihuahuan Desert today.  Dr. K, Willow, Frio and I trekked down LDR-A, crossed the Tellbrook Arroyo and then began an exploration of the desert west of LDR.

We explored the new arroyo, eventually rejoining LDR just short of First Arroyo, where we turned around and headed back.

Saw several Black-tailed Jackrabbits and a Desert Cardinal (Pyrrhuloxia) during our peregrination, but no outdoor enthusiasts of the human kind.
