A Sequence of Red Flag Warnings

Soaptree Yucca along LDR-A
Another Red Flag Warning (high wind event) is supposed to start around 11 and last until 7 p.m. today, so we were lucky to get in a hike up to First Arroyo and back before things got bad.

We stopped into said arroyo, drank water and took photos (me), and then headed back, seeing nobody in our section of northern Chihuahuan Desert.

The air was surprisingly clear today despite yesterday's heavy winds.  Let's hope today's event doesn't stir things up too much.
