Monte Vista Sunday Trek

Dr. K, Becca and I did an extra long hike this morning, more than two-thirds of the way around Tortugas and back again.  Dr. K commented on the profusion of Trailing Four O'Clocks--more than we'd ever seen before.  On the way back we ran into the Chartreuse Goose, who stopped jogging just long enough to say he'd never seen such a profusion of Trailing Four O'Clocks in the desert.  We had a good laugh about that one.
