A Good, Long Hike

Backside of the mountain
Dr. K, Becca and I set off early for a long hike around Tortugas Mountain.  It was downright chilly out there, with a moderate overcast.  The steady breeze made it feel cooler than it was.  I brought a jacket along, and I would have used it had the forgetful Dr. K not left hers behind at the house.  Becca had an encounter behind the mountain with Layla, a darker spit and image of herself.  We had a good laugh with Layla's owner about how similiar the two dogs were in appearance and behavior.

Isn't it always the case that the guy gets to freeze when the gal fails to wear sufficient clothing?
