Long Shadows

We've reached the time of the season when the sun remains low in the morning sky, and the mountain casts long shadows to the west.  It felt slightly chilly in the shadows as we set off; and soon we'll choose another, more sunny route in order to catch the morning rays early.  But both Becca and I warmed up quickly enough as we did a moderately-long hike around Tortugas.  There were quite a few other outdoor enthusiasts enjoying the desert.
