Bad Haze

It's been years since I've seen haze this bad
The air was really bad this morning due (according to the morning meteorologist) to a strong storm front backing in from the east.  We're supposed to have a good chance of rain both today and tomorrow.  Let's hope we get some.  Becca and I took a route we haven't traveled in a while, spotting an old four-foot Barrel Cactus that had succumbed to a bad winter several seasons back.  I was hoping it might survive, but it looks like it's chances are slim--even though there's some green at the top.

We still haven't gotten any rain today--and the desert is parched.
