Hace Mucho Viento! (A Lot of Wind)

Pyrrhuloxia (Desert Cardinal)
The wind was gusting between 40 and 50 mph this morning, and it made it darned hard to hold my camera steady to capture a few images of this beautiful Pyrrhuloxia.  The first video is of him, too, and you can hear how beautiful is his song.  "Il Vento"(Italian for 'the wind') was blowing so hard out there that I had to retrieve the chin tie-down from my pack in order to keep my hat from sailing away like a flying saucer.
The wind was strong enough to bend his crest sideways
