Yet Another Section of the Rim Trail

Commander at the side of FR 634
We drove along Forest Road 634 for about three miles until we came to the intersection of the Rim Trail we were looking to hike, left the Jeep at the side of the road, and got moving.  It was another wonderfully cool morning in the Sacramento Mountains, slightly above 9,000 feet.  Our string of hikes without running into other outdoor enthusiasts came to an end as we ran into a young man and woman who were doing some serious mountain biking; they had two rambunctious Australian Shepherds with them.  Becca was delighted to interact with the pups.

It's so much fun to explore a new part of this very long trail.
