Hot and Hotter

Becca at work
It was 100 F the day before yesterday, 99 F yesterday, and we're supposed to be headed for the low 100s today.  It was 80 F when Becca and I left for our hike this morning.  That's hot--even for this section of the Chihuahuan Desert.  There were people out and about on the mountain, though, lovers of the outdoors, like the Beckster and me.

I looked at the national weather map in the newspaper this morning and saw a forecast of 100 degrees for El Paso (alas, Las Cruces is not on the map). I thought about you and knew you'd be suffering!

(The forecast for Denver was 99 degrees, so we'd be suffering if we were at our place near Ft. Collins, too.)

Don't want to rub it in, but we're getting heavy rain again today here on the East Coast, with more rain forecast for tomorrow.

Yes, Scott, as Dr. K can verify, we need that rain badly. Anything you can do about it?
