It's so nice to enjoy the scent of the rain in the desert.
You're right, Packrat: excellent opportunities for some interesting images because of the clouds and wind. Did Becca's paws get muddy?
Kali and I went for a walk around noon, but it started to shower almost immediately so we turned around; we weren't dressed for rain. Then, as soon as we got back to the car, it stopped, of course, and held off for the rest of the afternoon. How's that for timing. But now it has started to rain again (6 p.m. Sunday), and it's supposed to change to snow after midnight and won't stop until we have another 8-10".
If we don't lose electricity (plus heat, water, and light), I'll keep you posted.
Becca's paws did get slightly muddy, Scott.
While Dr. K and I were watching the news this morning we were marveling at the weather conditions back there. This has got to be one of the worst winters on record for you folks. Hope it comes to a quick end.
