Greet the Buddies Day

Crown of thorns (a small Barrel Cactus collapsed in on itself)
When we were about a half-mile away from the trailhead at the end of our hike we ran into our pal, Jimmy, and Becca was really happy to see him.  He and I talked for about fifteen or twenty minutes before parting company.  Nearly back at our car we ran into Gregg, who was just starting out on his hike.  Becca was really glad to see him, too.  I told Gregg that because I had shot the breeze with Jimmy for so long I was in a bit of a hurry.  So Gregg set off right away to see if he could catch up with our other buddy who was heading to the mountaintop.

Not very concerned by our presence
