Becca and I ran into absolutely nobody during our long hike west of Tortugas Mountain this morning.  The weather was very pleasant again, though sunnier than yesterday.  It's really nice to get this respite from the generally hot and humid days of monsoon season--which is the weather pattern dominating the desert Southwest at this time of year.   We always take advantage of these opportunities to extend our treks, though occasionally we've paid a price for it.  Sometimes an overcast sky turned very sunny during a hike and we were sweating like pigs by the time we got back to the car (at least I was perspiring like a porker).
