Because of the time change, we were out on the trail later than usual, which meant that the sun had already started warming up the desert.
I like the moon snagged by the sotol! Good for you! Becca found shade even when the temperature was reasonable; she must get REALLY hot on summer walks.
Thanks, Scott. Yes, Becca gets hot on summer walks, so we always make sure we take plenty of shade breaks. No problem remembering, though; she simply jets ahead to the shadows and plops down. :)
