Winter in Both Deserts

First three images are of Thunderbird Park, Sonoran Desert
Dr. K, Becca and I did a short early-morning hike at Thunderbird Park in Glendale, Arizona before heading back home to the Chihuahuan Desert.  It was as windy and cold in the Sonoran Desert as we've ever felt it, and then we drove back into a heavy winter storm that had deposited at least three inches of the white stuff at our desert home.  It's early evening now and the snow is still coming down.

Right now there is at least 6 inches of snow on the ground, more than we've ever seen in the Las Cruces area. Bad traveling conditions!
