Hard Leaving the High Country

Looking into the Tularosa Basin from on high
We got a really early start on the Grand View Trail this morning, then returned to our place in High Rolls to finish packing for our trip down to the lower Chihuahuan Desert.  It was really difficult to leave today.  75F for a high in the high country; 91F and blowing dust in the desert.  Not a hard choice, but we had to come back.  A week up there really makes you want to stay much longer.  Too bad about the whole "obligations" thing.
