Taking in a Grand View

Display noting the types of animals found in the Sacramento Mountains
Dr. K, Becca and I did an early-morning trek along the Grand View Trail just outside of High Rolls, New Mexico.  We were concerned about encountering a lot of mud since we had rainstorms much of yesterday, but the trail was relatively mud free, so it was a good choice.  We saw no other hikers along the Grand View, which contributed to our sense of having that entire portion of the Lincoln National Forest all to ourselves.  It was a tad cold when we headed out (36F), but the warm sunshine kept us from feeling too chilly.  When we got back to our mountain home we did a little yard work.
