Trickster Redux

Headed for higher ground

Becca and I had a good morning hike west of Tortugas Mountain this morning.  The temperature at first was cool, but things quickly heated up.  Becca took several shade breaks because of the high temps and high humidity.  We had the good fortune of spotting another Coyote, though he wasn't in any mood for visitors; we tried to track him, but had no success.  We were lucky enough to encounter other denizens of the desert, including an Ash-throated Flycatcher, a Loggerhead Shrike, and the beautiful and elusive Lesser Nighthawk.
