Long Monday Trek

Plumed Crinklemat
Becca and I did an extra-long hike along the west side of Tortugas Mountain this morning, skirting the foothills and heading into the outback to take photographs.  We were not disappointed with the many desert plants in bloom; at least I wasn't disappointed.  Becca's good at masking her emotions regarding botanical matters.  We saw one other outdoorsy person at a great distance, but encountered no other nature enthusiasts on our long trek.
