Day 4

Looking down at a Devil's Head (Echinocactus horizonthalonius)
Today was the fourth day of Becca's rehab, and I may have pushed her a bit too far this morning.  Toward the end of our trek she limped briefly while we were heading east on Geothermal Road.  She stopped limping before we bumped into J.C. and Olivia, who returned to the area from Fairbanks, Alaska the day before yesterday.  I spoke for quite a while to them yesterday while Becca stayed in the car, but today I was worried her leg might stiffen up so I had to abbreviate our conversation with the two Alaskans.  So far since we've been home the Beckster doesn't seem to be gimping about.
