Small yucca forest

Although it was supposed to be cooler this morning the higher humidity made for warmer-feeling conditions.  I removed my hooded jacket less than a half mile into the hike.  Then even the long-sleeve shirt I was wearing felt a bit too warm.  Rolled-up sleeves helped alleviate the problem, though.  I saw only one other hiker out there this morning:  a woman headed around the mountain on the loop road.

After lunch both yesterday and today I took Becca for a short car ride.  These rides have had the effect of making her more eager to accompany me on treks in the morning.  Fortunately her hiatus has only two days remaining.
