A Discovery

Frio and Willow
Discovered a new route this morning that pretty much parallels the one we've been using the past few days:  down LDR-A a short distance, detour into the arroyos that head north toward the Tellbrook, jog out to LDR-A a smidge to the trail that runs east along the south bank of the Tellbrook, and on to the intersection of the new arroyo we've been exploring.

We headed south and southeast up the new arroyo to its head, hiked up the steep hill that leads into the upper flatland, and then followed the dirt road back to our waiting CR-V.

We saw a few critters while we were out there--one in particular, a jackrabbit, that got the Heelers' chase instincts primed--but no human beings.
