After the Trek

Upper flatland road
This morning Willow, Frio and I followed the upper flatland road to the intersection with LDR-A and started down the latter until veering off into the arroyo that parallels the dirt road.  We descended almost all the way to the Tellbrook Arroyo before turning around. We started back up LDR-A before jogging west to LDR, which we hiked into the flatland.

After our trek we drove over to the small post office to mail a bill; I had to go inside because both outside mailboxes had an "Out of Order" sign taped across the deposit slot.  On the way home I decided to take a detour through the pueblo of Tortugas in order to photograph Our Lady of Guadalupe, the beautiful village church.

Then we took the long way back to our house, a drive the Heelers very much appreciated.
