A Return to the New Norm

First 3:  Soaptree Yuccas

Along the upper flatland road to LDR-A, down the dirt road a bit before pivoting into the arroyo that parallels the road, north in the arroyo to the narrow east/west trail that leads to the new arroyo we've been exploring of late, up the arroyo to its head below the upper flatland road, and then a short steep climb to the road which takes us back to the CR-V.

During our trek we encountered one fleeing jackrabbit that forced the Heelers to try pulling my arms out of their shoulder sockets, a maneuver they tried again later when wanting to pursue a bird they mistook for something more to their liking.

Those were the only critters we saw today.

Those photos of the Mesquite beans are so good. I especially like the second one.
