Shadows of three amigos |
Halfway up that arroyo Willow, Frio and I turned around, headed back to and across the Tellbrook to the south side; from there we hiked west to the mouth of the new arroyo we've been exploring, turned left and hiked a short distance to the narrow trail that leads west back to LDR-A.
A short distance up the alternate long dirt road brought us to the entrance to the series of small arroyos that parallel LDR-A, which we followed back into the upper flatland and our waiting CR-V. All in all a pretty good outing.

I really like the photo Invasion of the Body Snatchers. Milkweed can really take over a plant.
