A Middle Branch

We did our usual hike this morning, but starting down Left Branch Arroyo from near its source we detoured into the arroyo we explored yesterday, but headed north rather than south.

We soon found ourselves in a middle branch between Left and Right Branch Arroyos, which we then followed down to the intersection with the right.  From there we hiked up the right branch and exited as we always do.

Both Willow and Frio were enchanted by the new route so I plan to explore the middle branch tomorrow, exploring much further to the south.
