Insurrection Day

We had a good hike this morning with the exception of an encounter with a fleeing jackrabbit; both Frio and Willow were raring to give it a go regarding the chase, but I held them back.  Had they been off lead it would have been "Katie bar the door."

Although a tad on the chilly side early, the blazing sun soon warmed the desert's ambient air, and I never donned gloves nor ear band during the trek.

It was down the LDR-A arroyo, across to the new arroyo, up and back on the left branch, and then up and out of the right branch.  A good time was had by all.
