Cold Front

A rainy and cold start
As soon as Becca and I stepped out of the car at the Sunset Parking area at the foot of Tortugas Mountain this morning it started raining.  It didn't pour down, but it fell steadily for fifteen minutes.  Then it stopped.  It picked up again, however, for the last fifteen minutes of our trek--this time much harder than at first.  I had a hooded rain jacket on, but Becca left hers at home so she was a pretty wet dog by the time we got back--and she smelled like one, too. :)
