Outback Again

Large Barrel Cactus growing in a Creosote Bush
After yesterday's interesting encounter with a Coyote, I couldn't help heading into its territory once more in hopes of another meeting.  No luck.  Becca and I won't visit again for a week or so just in case Mr. Canis latrans  lives in the area; we certainly don't want to force him to move.  It is fun to see these magnificent animals, though.  I can only guess that my attraction to Coyotes stems from my love of dogs, an emotion I first experienced as a very young boy getting to meet my Uncle Ed's German Shorthair Pointers in the Adirondack Mountains region of New York.
