Thunderbird Trek

Bridge over troubled waters
Dr. K, Becca and I are in Glendale, Arizona visiting my brother and his wife.  This morning we got an early start hiking at Thunderbird Conservation Park, a thoroughly well-maintained section of Sonoran Desert outside of Phoenix.  Trekking here is a real pleasure except for several annoyances:  too many residences, too many jets flying overhead, and too many people hiking in the park--even on weekday mornings.  Those distractions aside, though, we enjoyed our Sonoran Desert hike very much.  Going back tomorrow morning.
